Casen is 7!

Casen Jo is officially 7.

He is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet.  He has the biggest heart.  He excelled in school this year and has really become interested in rocks and minerals.  He is his dad's mini me!

Caleb had to work on his actual birthday, so a couple of days before we planned a trip of fun activities for him to enjoy.

We brought him to a bounce house and didn't know until we got there that once you buy the tickets you can come back as many times as you want that day....so we had to make a couple.  Then he got to go to a restaurant of his choice, which happened to be Cracker Barrel this year.  We finished up the evening with a lot of hours at the beach and of course had to make a trip to Ben and Jerrys.

And then his actual day we just had a really low key day at home.  He requested a football theme, which is pretty hard to find in June we found out.  We told him he could pick anything to do around home like shopping with his bday money or the movies, but after he opened his rocks he just wanted to stay home and sort them.  He picked tomato bacon pizza with bbq chips for dinner and chose a peanut butter pie for his dessert.

June

Another great month in the books.  Here's our month, not including Jo's birthday.  That, of course, gets a post of its own :)

We headed to a near by town that was having it's annual strawberry festival.  It was hot, but we had soo much fun.  I think it will be a new tradition for us.

We of course celebrated Father's Day.  Caleb and I gave each other gifts early this year, so on the actual day he said I was only allowed to get him flowers since that's what he got me.  We had to get creative!

Dad treated Jo to some donuts on his first day of summer vacation

And I was thoroughly spoiled on my birthday.  Caleb got me some new workout gear and set up a spa day for me to enjoy.  I got 3 relaxed hours of massage and facial.  And then he arranged a babysitter so we could enjoy a nice dinner out.  We, of course, chose melting pot.  It was amazing as usual!
