May

May was another great month for us.  Casen has about 2 weeks left of school and then it's summer vacation mode!  We cannot wait for our trip to New York in July!

Casen has done extremely well in school this year.  He got his final report cards and he got 100s in all of his subjects.  He was rewarded with a trip to the beach one day when he came home from school.

Arya had her first trip to the dentist.  She was cavity free and the hygienist was impressed with her teeth brushing skills.

Best of all, my mom made a quick trip down here this month.  We didn't tell the kids so it was a complete surprise at the airport.  Caleb and I even got to sneak out for a date night.  They happen about twice a year so I'm so thankful my mom offered.

And I of course got spoiled for Mother's Day

And we got to finish the month of May the same way we started.  Caleb is amazing at understanding most of my days are spent inside the house with the kids and keeping them quiet while he works midnight shift isn't always easy.  When he gets his 4 days off he always makes sure to do something special for all of us.  This time he booked a hotel, we packed up the car, and just spent a night away in Williamsburg, our favorite spot.  The kids had a blast swimming, we got to do some shopping, and then the next day we got to spend at the beach enjoying the sunshine.

April

April was a busy month for us!

Casen had his week off from school for spring break.  Caleb had to work for a good portion of it, but we made due.

Arya still doesn't really sit too well through movies so instead of heading to a theater we made one of our own at home.  We got movie theater snacks and gave them some money and they had a blast.

We checked out some new (to us) parks

And we've done tons of enjoying the outdoors...including ice cream trips

We let casen pick on bigger activity to do on his break like a theme park or aquarium or the beach.  He surprisingly chose the beach.

And then we of course celebrated Easter.  We were low key this year.

And we got to end the month with Caleb getting off work and waking sleepy heads up to go out to breakfast

Our life has been extra sweet these days and im so thankful
