July

July has been an interesting month for us.

I rarely get sick, but the first half of this month I was about the sickest I've ever been.

So there was a lack of pictures and an abundance of this as dinner.

But anyways, here's the rest of our random pictures from the month of July
the kiddos enjoyed more of the pool
Arya asked me to take her picture and I could not believe how grown up she looked...and I sure got a beautiful little lady!

We did a little more decorating.  It seems like even after over 2 years of living here there's always something more i'd like done.  Thankfully, Caleb puts up with it without complaint :)  The stairway was something I wanted done since we've moved in, but I could never find what I wanted.  We found these big signs one day while out, and with all that's happening in the country these days, it seemed like the perfect reminder to walk past.

We also added some much needed storage and "counter" space in the downstairs bathroom.  I think my biggest complaint about our house is how small the bathrooms are, but this has worked out to be the perfect solution so far.

It has been ridiculously hot, so we've had some crazies inside.

And trips the arcade when the machine happens to be broken and spits out all of its tickets when you play...

We've had tons of nerf gun wars, especially Jo and Caleb

And we are now packing up and heading to Pennsylvania to drop Casen off.  He will be heading to New York to do some camping with Papa, Grandma, Uncle Ty, and Aunt Katie.  He is soo excited.  This will be his first major trip alone away from home so we're hoping all runs smoothly and know he is going to have an absolute blast.

Before he leaves we get to have some fun family times with my brothers celebrating birthdays and heading to Hershey Amusement Park.  And when he returns we get to finally take our family of 4 vacation!

Please keep my handsome husband and all his fellow officers in your thoughts and prayers. And to all the wives and children that lost their loved ones, I cannot imagine. It's most of the time a thankless professional  and I think if people realized all that went into the job they'd be much slower to judge.
I'm so so proud of my love!!

And here are the crazy amount of pictures from the family visit.  It was fun!

Monday we went to Morgan's and the kids got to hold Anson for the first time.  We also got to watch Benny open up some early birthday gifts.

Tuesday my parents offered to watch the kids.  Caleb and I haven't been on a date in almost a year and we've never been on a double date, so we jumped at the chance and enjoyed a night out with Tyler and Katie.  We picked our usual special date night spot, The Melting Pot and it was extra special because they'd never been.

Wednesday Jo opened his gift from Grandma and Papa, a new tent!  Which is going to come in very handy this summer when he heads up to camp with them for his first big trip away from home on his own.

We were so thankful that we had so much help to clean up our back yard.  My dad was able to be a major help in getting our fence all fixed and all the men spend most of their mornings cutting and stacking wood from the fallen trees.

Friday and Saturday all of the grandkids were in one place so we snapped some pictures.  It's really hard to get 6 kids to sit still for more then 5 seconds.

Casen got a new pool for his birthday and the kids absolutely loved it.  Jo and Mac have so much fun playing together.  The kids can't wait for our trip up to PA this summer to get some more play time together.

And just to put the cherry on top to our awesome week, Caleb could tell I was a little down and surprised me with these the day after everyone went home.  He is truly the best.

Jo turns 6

We had a crazy busy awesome full week here at the Geiger residence.  All my family was able to make it down.  So lots of pictures to come.  Casen turned 6 this past week so he got to have two days of celebrating, his actual day and the day of his party :)

The morning of his birthday Caleb took him to Sugar Shack to pick out his breakfast.  He came back with a very loaded donut.

Then he got to open presents and we went out to dinner and Papa and Grandma took him on the train ride at the big outdoor mall.

Saturday the entire family was here so that ended up being the best time for a party.  He requested a bug party this year.  I thought that theme was going to be a cinch, however, I was wrong.  We basically went to any store that you could dream of with no luck of finding bug related things.  (almost) Auntie Katie came to the rescue though and helped out with some homemade stuff and Grandma and Papa even brought some lollipops with real bugs inside.  He loved it!

The kids enjoyed their dirt and bug cupcakes and got to spend the rest of the day together.  He said it was the best day ever and he can't wait to do it again next year.
