Valentines Day
A few days late on this post....a few days late on a lot of posts. I'm lacking blogger enthusiasm lately.
We enjoyed having a day celebrating being thankful for the love we share all year long. Why pass up the opportunity at another holiday!
At midnight Caleb spoiled me with some more diamonds.
You know those girls that post all the time that they don't want flowers and jewelry because it's not there thing?....well, i'm not one of them. Ha! Just kidding. But seriously, I appreciate the smallest things Caleb does for me like bringing home my favorite starbucks drink and scooping the kids up in the morning when he gets home from work and brings them downstairs so I have a couple of minutes to wake up. and I am also a girl that loves getting flowers and jewelry. Whatever let's me know that he was thinking of me, I love. And I am spoiledd in that department.
The kids woke up to some valentines day treats. Casen remembered what I got them last year and asked if he could have that specific thing again this year, not an easy thing to find, but thank you Christmas Tree store!
We had some love inspired pancakes and settled in for a quiet cozy day.
Back in December Caleb surprised me telling me he had made reservations for our favorite romantic spot, the melting pot, for valentines day, but we realized we most likely wouldn't have a babysitter, so we moved it to later on this week. So we decided to enjoy a night in. We fed the kids dinner and put them to bed and then enjoyed a quiet steak dinner for two.
And why not enjoy a day about love with family?
So we called Morgan and Tim and had a really fun game night with them. Full of lots of yummy snacks and tons of laughs.
I love celebrating days with my valentine. We hope you all enjoyed your special day too!

A few snapshots of Aryas birthday and her little birthday party a couple days later. I didn't post pictures of the presents she got because I was afraid I would forget someone and there would be hard feelings. We got her a princess vanity because this girl loves makeup! Thank you to everyone who let her know you cared on her special day :) She loved all of her gifts and picked out some special stuff with her birthday money.

2 years
I can't believe i'm writing a post about our last baby turning 2 years old. I'm glad Auntie Mo is having a baby because this is making me miss those little baby snuggles.
Unfortunately today Arya has to go to the doctors for her 2 year check up (casen's headed as well for his kindergarten physical...i'm not quite grasping Casen and kindergarten in the same sentence yet.) So today will be a yucky day at the doctors followed by hopefully lots of fun to make them forget and we'll do some celebrating with cake in a couple days.
This little lady is the perfect addition to our family.
She loves to color.
She's moved into her big girl bed and is making big steps in the potty training department.
She's obsessed with puppies. They're her favorite and she brings at least 5 into her bed every night to sleep, which are usually Lucy puppy 1&2, Bella, lellow puppy, and tiny baby puppy.
She knows her colors and numbers and will talk your ear off.
She loves her brother. When they play together nicely it's one of the cutest things ever.
She loves makeup, princess, and everything girly.
She also loves zombies, guns, and playing in the dirt.
She's always had more attitude then her body has room for.
We love her to pieces and are excited to get to spend another year with our little lady!

I haven't posted pictures of the kiddos in awhile
We had some perfect weather in February...who doesn't love 70 degrees with sunshine and a nice breeze...so we took full advantage of it and spent the entire day outside. Auntie Mo joined us for the park and nature center and Caleb got to spend the afternoon in the backyard and taking the kiddos on a wagon ride with me :)
