Caleb and I are enjoying house hunting.

We haven't found our house yet, but we did pick out some colors :)  After living in white walls for 5 years, we will have no shortage of color!

I know..

I take wayy too many pictures of my kids, but none the less I got a few cute pictures of the little miss for her impromptu 8 month photos, (when you get a pretty dress from Auntie Mo you have to come up with a reason to take pictures :)

And of course big brother wanted to join in.  (he really wanted the apple in the picture.)

These last two crack me up.

 Can I have a bite?

 Really?  Not even one?

8 Months

Where did 8 months come from?

This month she's grown at a ridiculous speed.  This has been the month with the most changes.  She's made the turn from little baby and his making her way to becoming a....toddler :(

At 8 months she:

- Is crawling!  She started crawling about a week after she turned 7 months and now she is everywhere.  She follows people to any room and a lot of times I find her in Casen's room playing with the toys by herself.
- She pulls herself up onto things.  This is semi-new so she's still getting the hang of it.  She pulls herself up onto the couches and ottoman, but she gets frustrated once she gets up there because she wants to go more places and her legs just aren't cooperating yet :)  The crib mattress is lowered because she has master standing up in there as well.
- Still in size 3 diapers and 6-9 month clothes.
- Her favorite word to say is "oh"...everything is, "oh."
- She LOVES food!  She cries if anyone else is eating and she's not.  The only thing she's not super fond of are apples, (so weird.)  She's started on more then just the mushy stuff.  She loves wheat toast, cut up fruit, and really any thing else she can get her hands on.
- She mimics what you do with your hands, especially pounding things, that's her favorite.
- She gets really excited when dada gets home from work and she's started her separation anxiety from me.  She finds me anywhere I go.
-  She loves hitting her bottom lip and making a noise (not really sure what the name of that is, but i'm trying to get a video.)
- She's obsessed with faces, especially noses and lips.
- She learned to play peek-a-boo by pulling a blanket over her head.  It's one of her favorites.
- She is still the happiest baby on the planet.  She really only cries when she's hungry.  My babies were on complete opposite ends of the spectrum....thank goodness :)

We love you little lady <3 nbsp="" p="">

Since both grandmas got their birthday presents early this year, I can post the kids latest pictures.  I tried FOREVER to get a nice picture of the two of them together to give out, but it just didn't happen.  And then I started thinking, they get put in separate frames anyways, so why don't I just get separate pictures.  It worked out so much better and I got them done pretty quickly.  I wanted some nice outside ones, but there were far too many distractions.  So, although in our apartment, I'm happy with the way they turned out :)

I wonder where Arya's hand was during her nap?

Bompa & Monki

Bompa and Monki came for a visit!  This is somehow the only picture I got (obviously i'm not so great at taking pictures when visitors come.)

But pictures or not we had a really good time and the kids (and adults) loved having them here.  We were all spoiled and are looking forward to the next visit, whether it be in New York or Virginia :)

Visitors!

Auntie Mo and Tim came for a visit a couple weeks ago.  I realized after they left that I barely got any pictures :(  The kids lovee Mo.  They got to go to the arcade, Yankee Candle factory, parks, and they even watched the kids so Caleb and I could escape for a date night!

Caleb even stopped on his way home from work and bought me flowers before our date night.  He's the best!

The kids miss them and we can't wait for the next visit :)
