Christmas 2011

I knew this Christmas would be rough with Caleb being away, luckily God did too and we had the nicest Christmas possible under the circumstances and even got to see dada!

We had our traditional times at my grandparents house and Caleb and I got a new Keurig from my aunts.  I also got plenty of help in updating my wardrobe this year since all my clothes are from about the 9th grade.

We had Christmas on Thursday night with Grandma, Bompa, Jonathan, Liz, and Piper (which I have no pictures from.)  It was really nice and Casen got lots of fun gifts, and I did too :)

That same night a ups truck pulled up and dropped off all these lovely boxes

Caleb built me a charm bracelet with lots of little lovely things from our 5 years of being together and had it delivered.  He's the sweetest!  It's the most thoughtful gift.

Saturday night we got an amazing surprise and got to Skype with Caleb for over two hours! (p.s. thanks Pat and Karen for the use of the ipad.)

Casen helped dada open his gifts

We woke up to a phone call from Caleb Christmas morning and found that my mom had attached cute little yellow ribbons to our stockings this year
We got awesome gifts this year!  My parents got me a Blackberry tablet playbook and my sister drew my name for secret santa this year and got me a Wes Welker Patriots jersey!

Last night a DVD of Caleb reading a story to Casen arrived.  I'm not sure who loved it more.  It's so nice to see him and while we were watching it Casen said, "My Dada."  We miss him so much!  And i've been reminded over and over again through this deployment of God's perfect timing.
It was an awesome mail day for us, a picture canvas of this image also arrived from my brother and sister in law
I have plans of redecorating our bedroom when we get back to California and this will be front and center.  I love it.

Thanks to everyone for Christmas this year.  I can't wait for Christmas 2012 celebrating with all of my little family under one roof.

2011 Picture Review

2011 has been the hardest and best year all at the same time.  We've had the sweetest times as a family of three and had to say the hardest goodbye.  I can't wait for our family to be reunited in 2012!

We said goodbye to Virginia and hello to California

We had lots of family firsts!
First easter as a family of three, Casen's first birthday, first trips to the park, zoo, 4th of July, and Seaworld...

We celebrated Christmas and Birthday in August

And two years of marriage to my best friend as well as 5 years together

And then had to say goodbye :(

Casen and I finished up our year in New York with family while daddy is deployed

Hurry up 2012!  You have some important dates to be getting to...until then....we wait...for the best dada and husband to return
