Williamsburg/Yorktown

I love that Caleb's schedule now gives him 4 days off in a row.  When he was working 5 days on 2 days off realistically Saturday was spent relaxing from the work week and Sunday was getting ready for the start of the next one.  Now we have the extra two days to focus on the fun family stuff.

Monday we headed back to Williamsburg where we used to live before California.  I'm really thankful that we still live close to these areas.  We did the outlet malls and the huge Yankee Candle factory and had a yummy dinner.  Then it was off to Yorktown beach to enjoy the perfect weather and the pretty view...and some Ben & Jerrys.  Morgan and Tim came along too!

Picture and Life Update...even though I don't have much of one.

So here's our unexciting life dump these past few months.

A few weeks ago we made a quick trip to New York to celebrate with my sister and Tim on their wedding day!  We all had a part in the wedding so we had a busy few days, but we had soo much fun!  Caleb and I got to have a night to ourselves and I gotta say, he's a pretty great dancer :)  It was a beautiful wedding and i'm thankful that they made the move down here so we get to spend more time with them. (also i have a complete lack of pictures, but we did have a really trip spending time with family.)

And since we got back we've just been laying low at my family place, our home, (which has had no major updates to blog about.)

Caleb has been taking some classes so we've been enjoying having him here at night as he's been working days, but next week we'll be back into the midnights swing of things.  Both shifts definitely have their perks, at least on my end of things.  He's still being awesome doing his police officer stuff :)

Me, I've just been doing the same ol mom thing.  They keep me on my twos.  In October I'll be starting a month of working.  I haven't had a job since 2008, yikes.  I'll get to work for the same company as my sister does and it's just a temporary thing so I still get to enjoy my babies.  Hoping for the best as I step out of my comfort zone of home.

Casen is growing up way too fast.  The buses have started going by our house and I can't believe he'll be on them next year.  His newest obsession is dinosaurs.  He knows way more about them than I do.  Of course, he still loves Spiderman and cars and anything else boy.  He just got a new hair cut too!

Arya has of course changed the most, even just in the past week.  She's in the rapid changing stage.  She learns a new word it seems like every day.  She likes things her way, and that's about it.  She got two more teeth and two working their way in.  Her favorite thing is coloring.  Her favorite show is Sheriff Callie, which I now know because she's started saying it to ask me to put it on.  Her eating has slowed down drastically.  She was my easy child that would eat anything and we're onto not liking anything.  Thankfully, Casen was much worse so I know it's just a passing phase.  She's still in her crib, down to one nap a day, and is still sleeping through the night...as long as her teeth let her.  Her newest sayings are, come on, what you doing, and i'm hungry.  Potty training will be starting soon, yikes.

And here's so random cuteness for the end
