Geiger Christmas

Before going any farther I have to say, we don't love one side of the family more than the other :p  I had planned on bringing my camera over to this Christmas, but did not plan on getting stuck places in ice storms.  So thank you Sarah!  I'm glad someone was able to capture some pictures of the kiddos for me.

Friday night we surprised Caleb's parents and FINALLY got to spill the beans about Caleb's job.  Caleb normally cannot keep a secret so I am pretty proud of him for not saying anything for a month :p  We visited with each set of parent's Saturday and Sunday (and got to snuggle our newest nephew Daniel and newest niece Camryn) and then Monday we celebrated Christmas with his side of the family.

Thanks again Sarah!  She gets all the credit for this set of pictures :)

We officially have a 10 month old walker!

Arya has been talking 4 or 5 steps at a time for a couple months now, but she finally decided last night to take off and was walking everywhere.  This is almost the exact time Casen started walking too.  I thought for sure she'd be a little longer, but I guess they're both in a hurry to go.  This should be a link to a video of it.  I'm having some technical difficulties, but hopefully it works!

My parents knew about us coming up so we made sure we had a place to stay.  We got there Thursday evening and stayed there all day Friday hanging out.  Casen got to play in the snow for the first time ever.  The only other time we've experienced snow with him was when he was about 6 months old so he really doesn't remember.  Arya preferred to stay inside snuggling her "papa papa."

The Journey Begins...

We left around 10 pm drove all night and arrived in New York the morning of the 19th.  We stopped at Morgan and Tim's house (a welcome 2 hour earlier stop) to hang out, have some breakfast, and do a mini christmas.  Morgan and I always do our own twin thing at Christmas...and probably always will.  It also worked out perfect because we had some babysitters to allow us to get a quick nap in before finishing our travels.

Then we headed off to Grandma K and Papa's house!

Before and After Shock

I'm probably the only one on the planet who does this, but today I googled our new house address to see what kind of info I could find.  I stumbled upon the listing that was put up June of this past year, so about 7ish months ago.  This listing would've been what the owners of it now that are selling it to us would've seen and bought the house off of.

And then I saw the pictures.

Oh my.

We knew our house had been completely renovated but I had no idea the extent that these guys went through to make our home so pretty.  It makes me appreciate even more all the work they are willing to continue to do until we move in :)  And I have to mention the fact that this house was put up for listing as we saw it in September, which means they did all this work in 3 short months!

So here's some before and after pictures.  Be disgusted and amazed with me.

I'm so thankful for people who flip houses so we don't have to :)

The many faces of Casen and Mac

I have a bunch of Christmas posts to do, but I still have to get everything organized.  So in the mean time...here's some goofballs.  They were quite the duo at Christmas.  Still learning the art of sharing....but cute none the less :)
