April

Our days are practically all the same, one kind of runs into the other.  We've been doing our best to stay busy and occupied.  Caleb's obviously still working full time and the kids are full time schooling from home.

Easter was the highlight of the month.

 He gets me :)

We had a super yummy dinner and then got to finish the night watching Trolls 2.  I'm really thankful we put our time and money into a theater room before all this quarantine business began because it has come in quite handy.

We also got to enjoy our first fresh corn of the year.  Arya ended up losing her very first tooth while eating it too.

Here's some games and activities our family has been enjoying during this time

February/March

I skipped blogging in February because we didn't have much go on besides Arya's birthday....little did we know it'd be the last thing we did until at least June.
The transition hasn't been a fun one.  At all.

These are the few pictures of what we've been up to stuck at home

We bought a new car!  Well, a jeep, but it's ours and we love it :)

The darker one on the right is our old one and the light grey is our new...as you can see our taste hasn't really changed much.

Caleb made us the best wings and we baked giant cookies...because why not

We have breakfast at 10:30 because all of us get to be night owls and everyone's sleeping in these days

We've done more puzzles and had more game nights than I can count

Sometimes school takes place on the guest bedroom floor...almost considered a field trip at this point

When it's still 65 at 8 we enjoy dinner on the porch.

We've gone for walks around the neighborhood and I am loving seeing all the trees blooming in our yard we missed out on getting here last summer.

We've done the best we can with what we've got, but it hasn't been easy.  Caleb is still working full time midnights.  The kids are home the rest of the year.  They have to continue 20 hours of online schooling a week until their school year is up in June.  And we have a stay at home issue ordered until at least June 10.  Yikes.

I'm super thankful for a husband that's super patient with my crazy self in this bizarre world we're living in these days :)

Arya is 7!

I looked over the post I made for her birthday last year and realized, not a whole lot has changed :p
She's still the girliest of girls, barbies are still her favorite, she still has all the feelings in this world.  She spent the end of her birthday crying because she said she just had the best time and didn't want it to end.

We struggle a little bit with her birthday because she's in school for most of the day and the weather usually isn't great in February.

This year she requested a Frozen 2 birthday party, even though she'd never seen it.  When we found out that Frozen 2 was being released the day of her birthday, we couldn't think of a better surprise for her.

She got to open a new birthday outfit before she went to school.  When she got home we made a bunch of her favorite snacks and headed down to the theater room for a movie night.

She brings the perfect amount of attitude and love to our family and we've loved sharing these 7 years with our sweet little lady.

January

January was a really fun month for us.  We love having visitors!

We finally got Caleb's 30th bday present displayed.

We had a blast with Tyler and Katie.  We had lots of fun making food, visiting breweries, antique hunting, and of course silly goose time.

We had a pretty serious dance party

We threw Caleb a Beerio Kart birthday party...and if you've never had a snicker doodle whoopie pie, you need to.

Tyler bought some wagyu beef for us to try.  Now we all understand the hype.  It was amazing and unlike anything you've ever had before.

The kids also got to make some fun pasta

And believe it or not, the majority of the things we did, no one had their phone to take pictures.  We always have the best time and can't wait for whenever the next visit may be.   Thanks for the silliest of goose cookie times guys!

We finished out the month really enjoying family time.  The weather has been amazing.  We're waiting for winter to actually hit because so far it is nowhere in site.
